tell me about it. they are tough! flight is predictable right up to the point where you push the shutter button. Low, fast flyers. Beautiful birds though and those owlish faces are unique. From dead on they look like barn owls.

Great capture. I saw one today but he was even further out than the deer. No shot but looked great through the binocs.
