G'day all

100+ yrs ago in one of the Downunder-land gold rushes, this rail line was built between Normanton and Croydon, some 150km apart, with the continuation to join the main line a further 150km beyond that. However the gold rush expired and the train line never proceeded ... leaving this bit of train never connected to elsewhere. The train is now a sought-after rail experience by 'rail fashionadios' the world over. The actual line runs thru cattle stations across the Gulf and it stops and starts its journey many times along the way as the train meets the station people it drops off mail and parcels on the outwards journey on Wednesday and collects similar stuff on the return trip on Thursdays
