The Healing Wall
This village's name is actually called "Parede", literally "wall". The origin of the name is because of the large abundance of stone and loose rock walls before it was even populated. This is a very iodine rich climate where people come to treat for bone diseases. This small town has two of the best orthopedic hospitals in Europe that were built here for that same reason.
