Found this wreck on Google Earth and just had to check it out, around 150 mile round trip, but very enjoyable in both terms of driving and scenery. The story goes, this is what remains of the 344-ton Irish Trader, of Hartlepool, grounded in 1974 en route from Sharpness to Drogheda with a cargo of fertiliser. Baltray beach, Co Louth, Southern Ireland.

all C&C very welcome!

The use of the ND filter and the motion-blurring of the clouds only seems to distract from the ship. The ship seems to be about 25% of the frame, and the sky and sand the majority of the frame. This just isn't a very enjoyable image to look at for me. The technique and the black-sky processing approaches just seem to smack me in the face. I wish the ship's bow itself had some visual interest, but it's shot so wide-angle that there's not any detail the eye can latch onto.

I think if you lengthened the exposure more and smoothed out the sky it would help let the ship stand out and give it some punch.

I really like this picture. Could you please let me know how you got this cloud effect?
