Lovely shot! Is that a Cardinal in the background too? That's a small type of Jay (compared to the ones here in the UK)

Nice capture with the cardinal in the BG. I would probably open some shadows on the Jay to get some more detail.

Yes it's a cardinal in the background. Today makes the 2nd day the blue jay has shown up. I'm hoping to get more practice and hopefully find a way to lighten the face.
