This daily event at Kapiolani Park, Honolulu Hawaii featured mainly Pure Hawaiians. The grandmas in their Holomuu's played and sang for the younger dancers. The show was free and ran from 1937 through 2002. These photos were take in 1960 as Kodachrome slides, converted today into jpeg images.
I always loved the vividity of Kodachrome slide, in university I often shoot slide for projects.
It's a shame that the sun was so bright, maybe not the best time of the day, but it's cool to see converted images
