Not impressed by the menu on the table below

This one had it's beak out of joint as it thought the nuts were it's personal property!

And the look-out above.

Sorry about quality as light like mid December this morning - F2.8 weather so plenty of fill-in flash to make 1/200 possible and far too much noise at iso 400 on the 350D

Hey, another fun series from Fangman (complete with risque title). I like the longtails...that first shot especially is a beaut. Do the two different species fight at the feeder, or did the lone one in #4 defer to the more numerous longtails?

Fortunately there are few disputes at the feeders - just outnumbered in this case. The Great and Blue tits are often seen together and sharing with the finches at the column feeder. Of the finches Green is boss, Gold will try and hold their ground and not permit sparrows to take over, but will not chase off a sparrow already in residence. Lastly the chaffinch who are not so comfortable on the perches and really are ground feeders. Starlings bully off everything - they are far bigger and usually squabbling amongst themselves although often the smaller birds will be on the feeder with them if there is a perch free. The doves usually have their minds on other things - feathered rabbits, even on sitting on a nest 10ft above the feeder as I type, looking fed up in the rain.

The first one is my favorite! What a wonderful pose!
And cheeky sparrow indeed... you sir are the cheeky one.
