The other day I reading about HDR Uberx its hdr photos of run down decaying buildings paint peeling dark gritty mood kinda dark dreary horror movie mood so I tired the post processing techniques they laid out , and I think it came out fairly well , Again I am sure this does not fit the realism mode for some but I am interested in all kinds of hdr so all comments well bad or not Taken in Chicago on a L platform

I can't say much about HDR (at all!) - not a technique I use often.
But hey, my feet have actually touched that platform before, and I feel like mentioning that! :D

Chicago is amazing place to live everyday my feet touch that platform hope you had fun in the city something new everyday

I like the semi-dark fitting mood here, even though the sun appears to be blasting down. The metal framework and overhang came out well, which appears to be your gritty subject. The man in the shadow is an interesting focal point, although distant and small. The HDR is a bit much here and kind of takes on a "video game" look, and the composition needs some work.

Echoing FanBoy on this one. He's right, the HDR almost moves it from a "photographic" to a "computer graphic" look.
I'm not much into HDR. In fact I've only seen a few that I really did like, but I kind'a like this one. Never have been there, it leaves me with a creepy, eerie feeling.

BTW, the title fits well

Very cool work. Creepy...reminds me of the first Bioshock game.

Maybe I will try to recompose the shot and try again thanks for all comments
