Very interesting!! I have to see it again once I'm home.

It feels tilted to the left slightly, which makes it feel off kilter to me. Interesting light, interesting subject. Wild colors, but I bet that's what it really looks like. There's no accounting for Florida, is there?

Not sure it's speaking to me particularly, but I'll probably come back to it to see, later ;)

My immediate thought about this one was: too much sky, too little "anchor" at the bottom.
Such skies (sun against storm clouds, with some greens added to the picture) fascinate me to no end, and the colours become really intense, which I love. So there is quite much about this photo that I really like, just not the composition. Well, that I don't like so very much.

^^ what she said. ^^
LOVE the colours and light and I keep looking because of them, composition feels awkward and I'm left wanting more tree. The colour and light allllmost makes up for it.

I disagree, I think the band of green at the bottom with the trees on each side frame the sky quite well. I think I would have tried a portrait orientation with the two trees in the center at the edges of the frame and the band of green at the bottom, but I'm not sure I'd like it. I'd have to see it first.

I agree that it frames it nicely but the bottom edge feels .... crowded?.... maybe I want to see the tips of the bottom part of the (spanish moss?)? I think you might be onto something with portrait orientation, that (moss) leads the eye down and I think it needs more room on the bottom to move into.
