It's a little busy for me? My attention is split between the foreground and background, so it's hard to focus on a subject.

The structure in the foreground is the tourist attraction Fisherman's Warf but the one in the distance is the real working man's warf where commercial fisherman (former reigning industry of Monterey) sell their catch.

there's another pier in SF that is all for tourists as well. Santa Cruz too.

I'd say San Fran has two if you count Ghirardelli Square.

We have them here, as well. Heck, anywhere along I-95 fit's that description, especially once you get south of Richmond.

There's a few things about your shot that I pick out. First of all I do like the reflection, and I like the contrast idea of working dock vs tourist. The processing on the whole looks ok but the reflection looks off because of the water colour looks different and the reflection of the sky looks blue where in the rest of the shot its grey. Next for me on the negative side is composition, you've framed the shot to the peirs which is ok, but the cut off boat and cafe or shop (?) Weights the image too much to the right. I think you'd have been better including a bit more of the RHS. Possibly a panoramic format would have worked a bit better
