I'm working on a 365 Photo Project (a photo a day), and was desperate to find something to post on my Flickr for today. I found this old African kaleidoscope that my Grandpa had brought back from Ethiopia a couple of years ago. The hole was pretty small, so I had to zoom in a bit, causing the image to be slightly out of focus. I played with it a bit, though, and used the "distort" tool. For something on a whim, I quite like it. Comments?

I like it. It is unexpected.

The color is fantastic, too.

First of all: congrats on your 365-day project!
And then I must say this is a neat photo taken under difficult circumstances! You did really well. I don't see the blurriness you mention.
As a child, I loved these kaleidoscopes with the coloured glass things that would give you a new pattern over and again.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'm really proud of the distortion I did, so that it looks three dimensional. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

And LaFoto-- Thanks! It's actually very fun so far, and a challenge.

Very nice I like the colours and if you didn't describe it i'd probally never guess what it is!

Oh yes I like this very much! Nice job cherrymoose :D

Nice, this is some of your best work, cherry. Keep it up.
