JT is Joshua Tree National Park, which is a desert area a couple of hours east of Los Angeles. Its basically a recreation area with camping, rock climbing, etc.

we got a bunch of TPF'ers together and met up in Joshua Tree for a photo op and meetup. it was a blast and i met some of the most nicest people on this planet.

It's a nice place to chill out and take pictures. Some of the board members went there for a get together. If you look under the Photo Locations forum there is a Meet-up forum where members in the same country or continent can get together and meet each other. We occasionally talk about a European one. We must see if we can sort one.
