Oh crap, it's actually 55mm- I'm guessing that may have made it tough to search, haha. It's a compact, affordable (~$400) quality FF completely manual prime (manual in K-mount at least) with aperture ring and 9 semi-rounded blades, made in Japan. Smooth, nicely damped focus on my example. Passably sharp wide open with artsy bokeh, and very sharp stopped down. Fun lens.

Thanks for the updated info. I thought perhaps it was a new MF version of their 58/1.4 which I had designs on...55mm would be just as cool. The bokeh is artsy. I think it looks neat in the above floral shot.

This shot is unique and well done in so many different ways. I love the DOF to capture the one eye, and the unique texture of the bokeh provides a really interesting background.

    Nominated May POTM :)
