Although it's not all I own you'll usually see me with a Nikon with old MF glass on it.

EDIT:After reading the article that is the most succinct expression of Old Nikon glass I've come across. I've never been able to finger what it is and he laid it bare for me.

An exaggeration to say there was magic in some old Nikkor lens formulas? Maybe. But still love my old 55/3.5 MIcro-Nikkor, 35/2 Ai, 50/2Ai, 85/1.8H NAI, and the sleeper 100/2.8 E.

Ouch! That hurts. The scumbag who stole it probably had no idea what they were stealing. Likely sold it for pennies on the dollar.

They are lucky I was not home for them to meet my 2 friends.....Smith and Wesson. Worst part was the mess they made throwing all my stuff everywhere. Took me 3 hours to clean it up.

I don't need S&W. Unless they're stupid enough to hurt the dog, then all bets are off. Shooting someone even when it's justified is a nightmare in reality. A friend had two crackheads kick his front door down and attack his daughter. He shot both, one fatally the other in a wheelchair for life. Cost him a small fortune to fight the civil suits brought by the families.

I live very rural and do have a security system...and this was taken with a vintage Nikkor 24 f2.8.

Shooting someone even when it's justified is a nightmare in reality

I could have just showed them my gun and they would have taken off as they were 12 and 15 years old. Missouri does have a stand your ground law but you better make sure it is justified. I'm a firm believer in gun safety and have taken several defense courses(for guns and hand to hand) so I hope and pray I never have to shoot somebody.
