For fast turtles I like to get some motion blur in the legs and panning blur to the background.

Exactly. But I may need 2 assistants. One to throw, and the other to catch. I mean I'm shooting them, but it's not the same as with a shotgun. Plus who would want to throw a dead turtle around? And then the pic would likely be offensive to somebody. Everybody is offended by something these days, am I right? I'm sure there some "save the turtles" group somewhere wetting their pants already. Frigging hipsters crybabies. SMH
