These were taken over a year and a half ago with my first digital camera which was only 2 megapixels so the image quality isn't too good.

From the CN Tower looking West

Looking down (way down). They have a glass floor at one spot in the observation deck. Not the most pleasant feeling. Sure renews my respect for the guys that build anything tall.

Looking Northeast at the main downtown area

Looking Southeast

Looking Southwest at a small airport near downtown and some boat docks.

There are many lake front areas to walk along. This is the view looking east, back towards the downtown.

And of course, being Canada, more Canada Geese. I like the way the wing tips flare up on the last goose. Looks like one of Westjets new Boeing 737's.

There was a real neat sunset that cast a vivid red glow on the buildings

A couple of the fruit markets in the Kensington area

It sure is! No matter how well you know how strong it is, it's so hard to get over the fact that you are looking straight down. There were some peolpe who were lying on the floor with just their heads above the glass part. You see all kinds of reactions.

The Calgary Tower has a whole glass section that extends out from the observation deck but its not as high.
