I like the idea of this and the contrast, but I've been trying to figure out what's bothering me. I thought of two things: (1) the background tint doesn't work for me - looks a little greenish - I would convert to BW and then tint it some other color, probably something like sepia, and (2) I think it needs to be cropped tighter to give it more of a "trapped" feel, but don't lose all of the streaks in the upper right or the marks under them that almost look like a face.

I like both suggetions... Not sure whats going on with the tint, I shot b/w (not c-41) but got a color cast on all the scanned pics. Most likely I'll stick with the b/w on the conversion then crop off some of the bottom. Thanks
