All those tires still have good tread. For two years most cars weren't driven much due to covid so they grew old not worn out. I'm getting new tires Monday. They are 6 years 4 months old, but still have most of their tread. Did I wait too long? :nevreness:

Just on time. Typically tires last with use around 6-7 years or 10 years from manufacture date. Tires rot from the inside out. The tires on my convertible are about 15 years old. They still have tread and hold air but I'm certain they are rotting like crazy inside as there are cracks in between the tread. Once I get her back on the road first thing is new tires.

Oh and sometimes cheap tires are not worth it.........case in point the very cheap tires that came with the rims I bought for my other Mustang failed only after 18,000 miles........

In Ontario, 4mm tread depth is the recommended minimum for replacement; 1.5mm is the absolute minimum or when wear indicator bars are flush with the tread surface. It's a wet/winter safety issue. Accident reports usually include tread depth measurement. Baldies or minimum tread
aren't smart.

Not even a third-rate tire swing!
