The first one is. I think the bright patch on the right is a little distracting, so I'd crop it and then lighten the highlights just a bit.

Cropping on the right would also make the stream lead into the image.

I may be able to when I get home. In any case, I would crop to the right of those two trees that are close together instead of cropping one of them out - it's also better not to have the stream coming exactly out of the corner. I'd also not brighten as much - just a tiny bit from the original.

becoming too much headache for me. I think I am just going to delete it I am not such a fan of it anyway.

It's an interesting shot - here's my take on it just from messing with it for ten minutes.

Looks better than my version! Really only did this because of others doing impressionistic shots. something different. Don't know it is my thing but I do definitely like your version better.
I thought the creek helped this one, I think I got that right.. The creek does look better not in the corner of the frame and I did mess up that crop. You are also right about the light. I cant say you were wrong on anything actually. thanx.

don't have p.s.. don't need file. Just wanted to use your advice on crop and changes. I generally don't take a photograph as mine anymore once it changes from other input as they have work in it too but wanted to keep it for memory sake. Thanks again.
