Opening up the shadows really helps to bring out the feather details. Cropping and a bit of cloning doesn't hurt either.

You'll get one, eventually. Really southern birds are travelling further north every year.

Same here. Our island is in inindated with Whit Ibis right now. Plentiful in FL, but uncommon on Delmarva.
