tripod attachements

Can anyone suggest a brand of adapter that will let the camera screw onto a tripod mount using the built in screw hole?

Id rather use the L bracket on the lens method, but not all lenses will accept it.

I use a mafrotto one: Adapter Small 1/4'' to 3/8''
