    That appears to be the spider itself.
    I couldn't find an exact color match but the shape is "Spinybacked Orbweaver".

    Ron, you're looking at the underside of the spider and the orange & red are the underside of it's back. From the top they resemble a crab with a spiny shell. Here's a top view.
