Trouble Cloning Need Advice

I have been having trouble cloning out the bush (on the left) in the attached shot. The complexity of the trees behind it are making the job difficult. I'm wondering if anyone has some advice regarding how to tackle this problem.

Is something like this what you're after? This was just a few minutes with the patch tool. I don't use the clone brush much.

Here is an edit. Selected portions of the trees to cover the bush and used the clone tool with small brush to fine tune.

Or you can use the Healing brush or Spot healing brush in content-aware mode along with the Clone tool.

In short there are many ways to accomplish the same edit.

I think I was able to achieve a decent result. It won't stand up to very close scrutiny but it may be fine on a small print. Thanks for all the help!
