Trouble with Hahnel Giga T Pro 2,

Hoping someone may have a suggestion as I do not seem to be able to find any help in the manual.

I have a Sony A77 and purchased a Giga T pro 2 to be able to remotely trigger my camera.

I have the camera set in remote, single shot, along with single shot on the Giga T Pro 2. While it will focus and fire when I press the remote shutter, the shutter also fires at random times on the camera. It is this random firing of the shutter I do not understand or be able to correct.

Any thoughts?
