No CC needed, just want to share. The weather sucked, had no time for proper tripod set up(hurried like sheeps), but I am glad that I could use ISO2400 without losing too much IQ with my D700.

There are more than 20 000 of them, but we only visited a few main ones.

Amazing pictures. All I can think of for the 1st is 'fire hazard'.
 
I remember the tour guide mention something about dealing with fire hazard. Apparently it's already been taken care of. After all, they are hundreds of years old.

I think the centralized kitchen is for this purpose. The kitchens are separated from the main structure and made of stone and earth entirely.
