Well I folow that the skintones aren't naturally collors, but I like to keep the collors and athmosphere of the stagelights in my images, in this pic it gives a warm left side and a cool right side of the face but that doesn't bother me. I kept the saturation pretty high because it works for me like this.

good one, I like colors shades in this one, would just have get a bit more light on it so you can see the eye better.

I shoot a lot of theatre and color balance is always a problem. I like your image. When I run into a big, unfixable color balance problem, I say to hell with it and I go B&W.

Yeah, I do the same about B&W, but I find that with a little work you can almost always get back to some OK colors... or I just go Funky

thanks, I kind off like the opposition between the warm and cold. When I do a shoot I try to know in advance what kind of pics I want to come home with. So I mostly make the decision for collor or black'n'white on site and not afterwards when I see the collors don't work. For me it is a way to win time in postprocessing. When pics have to be online within 24hrs after the start of the show in combination with a day job.

ahah I can't do 24h after the show (well I can if I just have to put like 2 of each band), I usually take between 3-4 Days and 2 Weeks!
