I couldn't get the DOF I would've liked because I needed a faster shutter speed to catch the "action". In doing so, I needed a lower aperature to let more light in, because I was already at ISO 800 and didn't want to go higher.

#1 was shot at f/7.1, 1/400, ISO 800. #2 was shot at f/10, 1/250, ISO 800.

Awesome shots. Here's my 2 cents:

Remove the shadow tag in your watermark. And I think it would be even more amazing on a non reflective surface.
