I like the 1st one, looks like it's nesting area. I keep getting shots with them on man made structures...ughh.

Oh wow. Yes, I am right down the road in Mission Viejo. Speaking of HB, I was just at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands last weekend. What a freakin gold mind for wild life! Did you take advantage of it when you were here?

Naw, I was pretty much only shooting surfing stuff then...it was quite awhile back. I have good friend who live in your area in Laguna Hills. I can remember when there was nothing there...and I mean absolutely nothing. It was a lot like Rancho Cucamonga, only there it was at least vineyards.

The heron was in a game preserve and it was a nesting site.

Ah yes, the good old days when there was little traffic. I grew up on Camp Pendleton and was fortunate to have gone from 5th grade thru high school there (San Clemente) being a military brat and all. I have been here since 72 ish so I also remember vineyards and orange groves. M E M O R I E S in my best Streisand voice..............
