Many years ago, I did a lot of moth trapping. These two small moths here were photographed on film, then the slides digitized. They were archived as PNG files, so there is no Exif data I can refer to.
#1 A Tawny-specked Pug. This is one of the Geometer moths, whose caterpillars are the loopers or inchworms. It is about 20mm across.
#2 A Dark Spinach Moth. Also a geometer. This is about 30-35mm across.
I am not likely to be able to get any more such moths to photograph, but if I do, any suggestions to improve my photography would be welcome.
