I have discovered the 'paint daubs' filter which seems to work the way I thought the watercolor filter should (which puts an ugly dark border around color selections.)
Too bad there isn't a little more information and control over what these filters actually do.
The filter seems to pick certain ranges of color, remove the detail and make a gradient to form a 'daub.'

I'd like to see the photo without the filter! It looks like a wonderful composition and I think I'd like the reflection but I feel like I'm trying to thru a blur (or see it without my glasses on or something). These filters that are supposed to make a photo look like something else to me usually don't, actually.

Perhaps I need to see it larger. On my screen, it looks a bit more than blurry, but not quite impressionistic. My eye keeps trying to get it in focus and can't just "see it as it is".

Hope this is useful
