I don't follow, in porttrait aspect you lose the emptiness of the beach,
Underexposed it is but is taken at dusk and I didn't want to lose that atmosphere.

I think that a much wider view to show a greater expanse would be more effective at displaying an empty beach.
As it is to me (and only my opinion) I don't get 'empty beach' out of the original.
