While we wait (& wait) for the camera to arrive, here's a compiled list of a few unique shots at my disposal. Let me know how many of these you've actually seen. :)

#1 Shouting Sarus Crane : Looks very much like a Brolga, except it isn't!

Wonderful bird shots :)

India needs to get up to speed with some international tracking for shipping.
and less complicated addresses.

If i didn't know any better I would have thought they were all Brolga's LOL

I can't believe you don't have the camera yet, I mean lets get serious here, how many guys named Raj could there be in India :Joker:

that red eyed one creeps me out...yikes!

Wonderful bird shots :)

Thanks EC1981 :)

I know you're kidding but India needs to get up to speed with many things, hopefully the new govt. can make things run smoother. And the address is complicated, I agree. Most couriers just come to the building and get confused with all the block numbers and everything, so they just give me a call to receive it outside i.e. why I included the phone number too. :)

 There's just the one 8-), others are copycats :-P

Beautiful birds and nice details.

This is great! The red whiskered bulbul is my favorite and what a way of putting "juvenile" in it too=) Great shots, not too creepy about those red eyed ones, there are quite a few of those flying around where I am.

Thanks for sharing!

Excellent shots. The koel's song was a regular feature of summer growing up in India, but I'd never seen it close (or a picture of it).

I saw the red-eyed male and the red-eyed female pair at a local tavern last night, around 1 AM...
