I would have asked over at Your Travel Forum but it doesn't feel right joining to ask one question and then buggering off.

My sister is off to New York on Wednesday and wants to know what the baggage allowence is with United Ailrlines. She's been looking and looking but can't find any info. Can anyone lend a hand?

Looks like for international flights you have to call because it varies by destination.
For domestic (in US and Canada) it's two bags for free as long as they are each 50 pounds or less. So, if she fits that criteria she'd be fine for international. Be warned though, they do weigh them and even if the total weight is less than 100 pounds but one bag is over 50 pounds you have to pay a fee. We got stuck with that flying to Joshua Tree (all due to your waffle iron, Matt :mrgreen: )

Thanks, I just this second found that link. You'd think she'd have seen it herself.

Thanks again.

50 = 22.7kg. So we'll just use Pickle as a guid. :mrgreen:
