yeah, this is in the just for fun section because it didn't quite "make it" for me. I like that it is messy and chaotic it goes with the river fallen tree etc. Like the houses on the ridgeline. At the same time I don't like the messy because it makes a tough bw. considered a crop but didn't see one I particularly liked. So just left it and decided they aren't all going to be top notch.

Yeah, this one is hard to view in B&W. A lot going on. I know this isn't a keeper for you, but I think losing some of the lifeless sky helps. Focusing more on the stream and surrounding woods. Just a thought

well I am culling and practicing pp a little. when I came to this one I had this idea of this row of houses on the ridge line and this chaotic mess of river running behind them. Neat concept. But after considering the photo for a while I think I was lying to myself, as mentally I could pretend that is what it showed but it really didn't show it clearly. Probably why I put it aside originally. I have river pics I really wanted this for the additional houses on the ridgeline. kind of sucks. lol.

something about processing I am learning. I think someone commented on how could take two hours on a photo. I think the answer is a. I don't know what I am doing and b. trying to fit square peg in round hole. I have been messing with this for a hour in bw, color, and something in between which I bleached the color hard and added another layer to bleach them even more. The whole "just five more minutes and maybe i will find a combination that works". Trying to find a way to make this work. Three different crops. Good way to learn I suppose but it probably should have been tossed out sooc and trashed.... lmao. Just starting out with the floor covered in vomit (some call them fallen leaves, to me the color looks more like vomit) was kind of a slam to this. Add in the abundance of trees it makes a very confusing frame unless I learn to start deleting all the leaves and trees but I think there must be a limit to this in which it isn't worth the effort. so a hour later and I have gone through three versions and am still at "i don't really like it"
