Upgradeing

Well tax muney will be comming back soon and I was thinking about upgradeing from my D40 to a D80? The big reason is the lack of AF motor. I would like to make use of the fast prime lens that are fairly cheap like the 50mm and 85mm. Also the added controls would be nice as well. One thing I hear about is the D80 overexposeing things, is the a concern or just a very nit picky complaint? Thanks for you info!

If it does you could always change the adjustment setting in the menu (assuming it has this). I shoot canon and my canon is capable of this...not 100% sure about the Nikon.

I've had a play for a day or 2 on my friends D80 and it didn't seem to overexpose. It's a nice camera! Even if it does overexpose things, just use the exposure dial.

 

[D40]

The D80 does get a lot of talk as being a great camera and it would overcome the limits of a D40.
