Uruguayan Carnaval

Hi everyone.
There was a party here in Miami on the Uruguayan Independence day and as part of the entertainment there were some carnaval drummers and dancers. Not even close to the real thing, but these will have to do for now
Uruguayan carnaval is slightly similar to the Brazilian in that there is music with a heavy rhythm and a lot of dancing, but also very different since the music is solely made by drums... and also the scale is very different; Uruguay has only 3 million people.

Nice shots in my opinion. You probably had to focus fast due to the fast pace of the carnival. Great work!

Nice choice of apertures to give you a good DOF. Good focus!
I am not that much a fan of the direct light, but see that this is all you could do, else you'd only have got blurred photos. With the flash these are VERY sharp now! Cool.
