~ USS' Abraham Lincoln ~

.. It was a foggy morning yesterday as the "Lincoln" pulled up her anchor for the very last time
at home-port Everett, she will be replaced by her sister ship USS' Nimitz as she goes through a
four year refurbishing' & nuclear power rebuild.
.. Here she is picking up speed as she passes the historic Mukilteo Lighthouse.

I like the composition with the smaller boats in front, suppose it was a bit foggy?

Only wish the fog would of lifted a bit more for better contrast & detail in the ship.
Could of been worse though, 3 or 4 hr's earlier' we would'nt of seen a thing*

Nice job Don!! One time we fished for returning pink salmon offshore from the lighthouse at Mukilteo, and had a blast filling our limits of small but feistly little pinks. At that time, the limit was six fish per angler!

As you know this was the year of the humpy's, & it was a great run!
I know several people who limited multiple times, did'nt get out myself due to resent knee injury.
.. Had some great salmon patties a few times though' .. MMMM' MM!
