Vacation Bible School photos

The past few past I volunteered at my church's vacation Bible school, and while helping snapped some candid photos of the kids there as they were doing their activities. I haven't really done much photography of children, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. I have some more (including a few more in color) that I may upload to Flickr later (let me know if any of you would be interested in seeing them).

All photos shot with Nikon d70 + 50mm f/1.8 and processed in Lightroom 3.

these are fine but lighten up on the vignetting; in 1,2 & 4 it looks like the room is on fire.
I think #2 is clearly the best, nicely sharp, reasonably well-framed.
