Very nice. I didn't know they were in Florida. It is a common bird in city parks here but to date I haven't gotten a nice shot like yours.

Very nice. I didn't know they were in Florida. It is a common bird in city parks here but to date I haven't gotten a nice shot like yours.

They are migratory and only show up in this park for about two months. They're fast little buggers and rarely sit for long spells to get decent shots. This guy has been photographed by so many people, he's pretty immune to space violation...up to about 10 feet, then he's gone like the Roadrunner! Here's another close up I managed to get.
