vignetting in raw

Hi i seem to have quite a bit of lens vignetting going on in raw files but not aparrent in the jpg.. i assume this is fixed in camera.. however when i import in to photomatix i get quite a bit of vignetting should i fix the raws first by importing in to photoshop. or is there anything else i should do...seems to be more aparrent at wide angles...

Do you have a hood on your lens? more specifically a hood not designed and made by the maker of the lens?

You don't say which camera you have. My D700 has different levels of vignette control that can be applied in its jpeg processing. Check your camera settings.

its only a compact fuji f600 EXR... please dont laugh....... i put it down to the quality of the camera then....
