Virgen De Antocha

This virgen was the one Pablo Escobar's mother prayed to. The sculpture is carried around to different neighborhoods in Nariño, Cauca department on August 14th. She is considered the richest saint or virgen as Nariño is a gold mining area and until 1992 she was covered in over twenty six pounds of gold. Unfortunately her gold was stolen in that year.
