Wanting an upgrade, what DSLR should I go with ?

As the title says, I'm looking for an upgrade... I currently shoot with a D80 and D40, but I'd like to get rid of the D40, and use the D80 as backup and have something better than the D80, or similar, as a main rig.

What are your thoughts?

What DSLR is similar to the D80 at the moment ?

One main thing I would love, is the AF motor in the frame itself, one thing the D40 lacks...

Used D90 or D7000

What is there in the D90 that the D7000 has or doesn't have ?

I can go new, that's not an issue...

Search google or dpreview.com for comparison of D90 and D7k. You will see differences. You can consider to buy D90 or invest a little more to get D7k.

I have a D80 as back-up for the D7000. I enjoy the combo.
