I recently had a chance to visit DC for the first time and decided to spend two of the three days behind the camera to see what I could come up with. My primary goal was to see if I could get the "postcard" images, you can see those images here http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/...ton-dc-postcard-photos-warning-17-images.html. My secondary goal was to get a different perspective than the average tourist, something that had little if anything to do with what most people think of DC. Here is what I came up with, C&C if you like...
1) Early morning sculling on the Potomac...
2) Boats stacked up waiting...
3) Morning nap on the bank of the Potomac...
4) The rear of the Sweedish Embasy...
5) Backside of building...
6) Never thought of DC as a place to find serious graffiti art...
7) More graffiti...
8) Even more...
9) And this last piece was small but rather interesting...
10) Everyone needs a place to rest, even the birds...
11) Amazing drummer, using buckets on top of cones, and a shopping cart for cymbals, but you would not believe the sounds or talent unless you were there...
12) Taking a nap in the National Sculpture Garden...
13) Clyde's Pub & Resturaunt in Georgetown, fantastic place...
Hope you enjoyed!
