The Venus Optics 60mm 2x mag is a good option for the money. It is fully manual so not everyone's cup of tea.

I use it if I'm not using the MP-E 65. Certainly worth a look mucker.

I think it is a great photo.. i like how clear and vivid his face is and then how his big macro body gets mystical.....
