Took this image ages ago using my Canon Digital Rebel.
I'll get more with my 5D next time i capture one of these!!!

I didn't notice the cropped wing when shooting which is annoying but it's still a decent shot.

Yes, this is good! I like it! So you dazed the wasp in the deep freeze for two minutes? That is yet another good method to make them sit still without having to kill them (they then are not quite "the sight" any more, anyway ... ugh)... with my reversed lens method I cannot create any deep DOF at all, I am "victim" to what the reversed lens gives me (which is a hairline-DOF sometimes).

The deep freeze does them no harm at all.
This little guy recovered a short while after i took these images and i released him outside.
On the downside though, he and his buddies built a nest on my balcony about a week later so i had to have them forcibly ejected!!!
