Web Design Tutorials

I have done some searching and I have found SO MANY tutorials on how to design your website in PS ...

Does anyone have one that they REALLY FIND HELPFUL? One that is really, really good?

I know HTML and I am trying to expand my knowledge to incorporate a design in PS and use slices ...

Any suggestions that you guys have to help me weed through all the crappy ones out there would be great.

Most of what I've read...says that designing a website in PS isn't a good idea.

I know, I've read that too ... I'm just not happy with what I have now and I'm just trying to make something different without having to get into "flash" and "java" which I don't know at all ...

NO! using PS would not make for a good site.
Flash is no good either, cant use it on mobile phones, and you cannot improve your websites SEO with flash.

HTML/PHP/JavaScript is what makes a good website, maybe a little bit of flash here and there, but not the entire thing in flash

unfortunately it is, thats why im glad i went to school for computers, and made photography as a hobby

good tutorials for beginners, but i must say.. it will probably take you longer than you want to learn what you need to in order to build your site

Oh ye of little faith ...

I've had no formal edumacation at all in either photography or HTML ... I kinda smuckenfart ... *lmao* I think I can, I think I can ... either that or I'm just too damn stupid to know that I should just spend $100 or so and buy a freakin' site ...

There are a million things to consider when you're designing a web site, website and tutorials are generally designed for people who are brand new to web design.The only thing that will cost you money is web hosting. It's easy to buy your own domain name with web hosting and it's actually pretty cheap these days.
