Approx. 7 degrees of left shift with approx 3 degrees downward tilt.

A neighbor of mine passed away a few years ago, he used to make strange animal sculptures from scrap farm implement parts, as well as putting his old hats and boots on fence posts along the road. His grandsons told me he wanted to make passersby wonder what was going on out here in the middle of nowhere. Most of them are gone now, but driving by his place yesterday I saw this old 'shoe' still up on a post.

Last night's sunset was a good one and I noticed how the last direct 'light' was coming under the trees, along with 'purple' clouds.

Just a short time ago I looked out in the backyard and one of my sons and his family had stopped by. My granddaughter loves her stuffed dog, Violet. Add to that her favorite color is purple and I thought; soft, purple and shoes (purple of course) I gotta get a picture. Plus, as an unbiased grandpa I think she's a cutie.
