somewhere between the two I think, as it is now I prefer the darker image as it has more atmosphere.....however a little more detail would improve the tonal range.

I think it depends on where you would like the viewer to focus. In the first, the focus is directed on the people. The second isn't strongly focused on any one element and allows the photo to come across a bit more snapshotish. The third gives its focus to the atmosphere in the temple.

I really like the composition of the photo overall, it's lovely.
