Bought a 8.3 oz weight for some of my more flimsier vinyl (some I have are 90-100 grams when the standard is 120 grams to art house heavy vinyl up to 200 grams which are super flat). Works great to keep them flat but I did have to use the float glass heat method for some of the more heavier warped edges.

My SL-D2 direct drive can handle between 8-12 oz weight.
