Android AND a camera worthy of a good P&S... I'd go for it.

The camera on my current phone (Original Moto-Droid) SUCKS!

Looks pretty nice!!! If it shoots as good as it looks, it'll be a hit. I noticed it has a digital TV tuner in it...hmmm....and 13.2 MP camera....looks sweet. Waterproof too...

No word yet from Panasonic regarding pricing or a possible international sales plan.

And, it's using W-CDMA which is not an evolutionary upgrade on the airside, since it uses the same core network as the 2G, GSM networks already deployed worldwide.

So how big is the image sensor that has 13.2 MP crammed onto it. I wonder what the SNR numbers look like?

hopefully this phone will start a whole new category of phones, one day I can finally say goodbye to my P&S.

Wondering if the market would accept a product in which a smartphone was integrated into a P&S camera rather than the other way around....

In the phone store or mobile service provider store, it will advertise as phone with great camera while in camera store, it will advertise as great camera with smart phone feature!

Now, all we need is a EF mount adapter, android powered radio trigger app and we are good to go. LOL
